How to Choose the Right Drip Irrigation Emitter for Watering Plants.
A drip irrigation emitter is the component installed at the final stage of the irrigation system, where water is released directly to the plant being watered. It allows the selection of the desired water quantity and is ideal for trees, pots, flowers, and more.
Drip emitters can be installed directly on the main water distribution pipe, from Ø16 to Ø32, as well as on the Ø6 micro tubing, either at the end of the line or inline using the appropriate emitters.
They are divided into adjustable drip emitters and fixed-flow drip emitters.
In the first case, the water flow to the plant can be adjusted by turning the cap; with each click, the water output changes. In the event of clogging, they can be easily opened and cleaned.
Fixed-flow drip emitters deliver a specific amount of water and are distinguished by color. Their flow rate may vary depending on water pressure.
