How to choose the right electric irrigation valve for my garden.

How to choose the right electric irrigation valve for my garden.

Automatic irrigation solenoid valves are essential components of any automatic watering system, ensuring reliable and safe irrigation, even when you are away from home. While you enjoy more free time, your garden remains healthy, green and flourishing.

Solenoid valves are manufactured from high-quality professional-grade PVC, designed to withstand high network pressures. They are suitable for irrigating lawns, plants, vegetable gardens, greenhouses, vineyards, citrus trees, olive trees, as well as large residential and professional green areas.

Solenoid valve selection is based on:

  • Operating voltage: 24V, 9V, 12V or 18V, always matched with the appropriate irrigation controller
  • Connection size to the irrigation pipe: 3/4", 1", 1½", 2", 3"

⚠️ Solenoid valves should never be used without a controller, as incorrect power supply may damage the solenoid coil.

Models are available with or without Flow Control (F.C.). Flow Control valves include an additional adjustment on the valve body, allowing precise water flow regulation and improved water consumption management.

Most solenoid valves feature manual operation, allowing you to open or close the valve at any time by rotating the solenoid ¼ turn or by using an on–off switch (on selected models). This enables irrigation control independent of the automatic system.
